Petanque
With the warmer weather arriving, why not enjoy a relaxed game of pétanque in the garden? Our small terrain is perfect for beginners and casual play. Simply register by clicking on the image, then borrow a pétanque set any Tuesday—or at another time that suits —and enjoy a friendly outdoor game at your own pace.
The rules are simple: one player throws a small target ball (the “jack”), then players take turns throwing their metal boules from a standing circle, aiming to get as close as possible to the jack. You can also knock opponents’ boules out of position. After all boules are thrown, the closest boule(s) to the jack score points, and the first to reach 13 points wins.
Please note, if you lose the jack or any of the boules, you will need to replace them.
