Phoenix Garden Events
Health & Wellbeing Events:
Our Health & Wellbeing sessions are free and offered with care for those who might not otherwise be able to access support due to financial barriers.
Sunday 20 September, 11:00-14:00
11:00-12:00 – Meditation with practitioner Corinne Cooke
In this gentle, restorative session, Corinne guides you through calming breathwork and a deeply relaxing guided meditation inspired by Yoga Nidra. Designed to help you slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself, this session offers a space for rest, reflection, and inner balance. Suitable for all abilities, this is an opportunity to pause, reset, and leave feeling grounded, calm, and renewed.
12:00 – 13:00 – Functional Breathing with practitioner Blue Yasmin.
Part two of our introduction to Functional Breathing, inspired by the Buteyko Breathing Method. This beginner-friendly workshop will introduce simple breathing techniques and guided exercises to help you breathe more efficiently, encourage relaxation, reduce stress, and support better sleep and overall wellbeing. You’ll learn practical skills that you can easily incorporate into everyday life.
13:15-14:00 – Circle of Friends with Susan Salmon.
Circle of Friends is a friendly, welcoming group where people come together to talk, listen, and connect with one another. Whether you want to share your thoughts, gain perspective, or just enjoy the company of others with coffee and refreshments, this is a space where everyone is heard and valued.
Alongside open conversation and peer support, we also offer gentle creative activities as a way to relax, express yourself, and explore mindfulness through art.
