Our Board of Trustees oversees The Phoenix Garden in its capacity as a registered charity. With a range of backgrounds and expertise, they assist staff in the smooth running of the garden; ensuring that it remains open for all to enjoy.

Garrard is a local resident and has been volunteering in the garden fro 20 years! Outside of the garden he is an advanced practitioner for NHS England and also volunteers with Open Doors.

COMMUNITY
We are a thriving community here at The Phoenix Garden. Throughout the year we hold events for local people, and work days for volunteers to get involved.
OUR STAFF

Spencer Noll - Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator

Spencer has lived and worked in the area for almost 20 years. He has been a volunteer gardener here for 7 years and was on the board of trustees before serving as Chair 2019-2020. Spencer has extensive experience working with young people, children with special educational needs, and older adults. Spencer organises and runs our garden volunteer days, as well as the day to day management of the Phoenix Garden. ANNUAL EVENTS
In partnership with local and national organisations, The Phoenix Garden also plays host to a number of events each year. Open Squares Weekend allows us to showcase our little oasis to horticultural enthusiasts visiting from across the UK, similarly Open Houses Weekend to architecture admirers. We also organise the Agricultural Show and St Giles Fayre, which celebrated its 10th year in 2019!
